Hi, I’m Lori Mage.
I’m a coach, teacher, and transformational leader with over twenty-five years of experience helping people create meaningful change in how they live, lead, and work.
My work is for thoughtful, growth-oriented people who are ready for more honesty, more alignment, and more authentic momentum. People who do not necessarily need more information, but do need space to tell the truth, get clear on what matters most, and move forward in a way that feels more true, sustainable, and alive.
That is the work I love.
My work
Through deep, practical coaching, I help leaders, business owners, and thoughtful humans navigate growth, transition, decision-making, leadership, and life with greater clarity, courage, and self-trust.
I care deeply about helping people cut through the noise, strengthen what is already working, and build success without abandoning themselves in the process.
My coaching is warm, honest, deep, and practical. I bring thoughtful questions, truth-telling, lived experience, and a real commitment to helping people make meaningful progress in the areas that matter most.
My background
My path has included coaching college athletes, teaching and developing formal and emerging leaders, facilitating workshops, and coaching individuals through important life and work transitions.
I hold degrees in Applied Developmental Psychology from Eastern Washington University and Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Over the years, I have also trained and certified in coaching, performance, leadership development, and workshop facilitation.
Professionally, I have:
- coached and developed leaders and executives
- delivered hundreds of workshops on leadership, motivation, coaching, productivity, and confidence
- served as a Leader Development Manager at one of the most loved and successful financial institutions in the Inland Northwest
- built my own coaching and development business to expand the reach and depth of this work
I bring both depth and range to what I do — not just from study, but from years of working directly with people in real seasons of growth, challenge, and change.
Why this matters to me
My passion for this work is not just professional. It is deeply personal.
I know what it is like to grow through meaningful change, to question what is true, to build something new, and to keep becoming more honest about the life I actually want to live.
That lived experience is part of what shapes the way I coach.
I am not interested in surface-level growth, performance for performance’s sake, or helping people chase success that disconnects them from themselves.
I care about the kind of growth that is real.
The kind that creates more truth, more courage, more freedom, more integrity, and more aliveness.
What I believe
I believe it is possible to grow without abandoning yourself.
I believe it is possible to build a meaningful life and successful work in a way that feels more honest, sustainable, and alive.
I believe people are often far more capable, wise, and ready than they realize.
And I believe that with the right support, honest reflection, and courageous follow-through, real transformation is possible.
Who I work best with
I work best with people who are ready to be honest about what is no longer working and courageous enough to build something truer.
My clients are often leaders, business owners, coaches, and thoughtful people in a season of transition, growth, or important change. They are capable and self-aware, but ready for deeper support, stronger follow-through, and a more aligned way of moving forward.
They do not want more noise.
They want clarity.
They want truth.
They want meaningful momentum.
They want a life and way of working that feel more honest, sustainable, and alive.
If this resonates
If this way of working resonates and you’re looking for thoughtful, honest, high-support coaching, I’d love to connect.
